Art Direction Summary

I redressed a single Airbnb to be both a 5-person family home and a psychotherapist’s office. Aside from the logistics of moving furniture through narrow corridors, the production design problem to solve for Gray Area was to convey Kate's character through mise en scene with the limited creative choices available to us at the Airbnb. Decisions were made to have Kate's costume color palette as variations of gray while her home environment had splashes of bright colors.
